Session Bookings Thank you for booking with Gabrielle Hone & Associates. If you are booking for a child, please note that we require a one-hour parent session prior to the initial session with the child. Children are not to be present during this session. If you are booking an assessment with Rachel for a child, the child will be present in the first session.

Booking Tips 1. We strongly encourage clients to block book sessions if there are specific days/times that work best for you. You have the opportunity to change or cancel upcoming appointments up to 24 hours in advance.

  1. If there is a day or time that works best for you that has no availability please use the waitlist function, as appointments do become available during the week for a variety of reasons.

Rachel Tober is now available for Psychoeducational Assessments, ADHD Comprehensive Assessment, Autism Spectrum Diagnosis Assessment, as well as Career Assessment. NEW! In addition to her regular schedule, Rachel is now available virtually on Tuesday and Friday mornings!

Rachel Tober Registered Psychologist

Walking alone in our most challenging times can be a scary and overwhelming experience. As a therapist, Rachel’s priority is to provide a safe and open space to process the challenging experiences of life and better understand our emotional responses. With education and life experience, Rachel aims to help guide clients through the life circumstances and traumas impacting one’s thoughts, feelings, and relationship dynamics. In entering the counselling space, Rachel hopes for each individual to feel the relief in knowing that you are not alone in your journey, gaining the tools and strategies to better manage life when it is the most difficult. Rachel does this through the evidence based practice of Emotion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Additionally, Rachel provides EMDR therapy for trauma related processing.

A session with Rachel may involve exploring childhood/family history, current attachment/relationship dynamics, discovering restricting thought patterns, exploring relationships to various emotions, and practicing mindfulness activities for emotion regulation. Rachel uses a dynamic approach in helping clients work through issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, OCD, PTSD, anger, parenting, boundaries, self-esteem/inner critic work, and disordered eating. Rachel’s primary areas of focus include trauma processing, self-esteem development, intimate partner violence recovery, and relationship conflict. Through her experience in working as a clinical counsellor in British Columbia since 2021, Rachel has helped children and youth aged 7 to 18, adult individuals, and couples.
